About the Role
We are seeking an experience Part-time Accountant/Bookkeeper that is task-oriented and detail-oriented to join our dynamic Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and a great personality. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting/Bookkeeping and other related services
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable standards
Prepare account reconciliations for assigned Clients which will generally include the more complex general ledger accounts
Record sales, expenses, payroll, and other transactions in the general ledger
Prepare journal entries
Research and analyze accounts to resolve discrepancies
Investigate and follow up on account inquiries from Clients
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
Enhance processes and ensure internal controls are followed
Engage in telephone/video communications with Clients
Utilize accounting software such QuickBooks for efficient financial management
Assist in any analysis and investigations as needed in preparation for meetings with Management and Clients
Prepare any ad hoc requests from Client or Management
ssist others in the company as needed
Admin
Provide excellent customer service to clients
Answer phone calls and emails from assigned clients

Supervisor Responsibilities – None
Decision Making and Confidential Information – Responsible for maintaining security of highly confidential data
Equipment Used – Computer, telephone, scanner, printer/copier/fax
Job Qualifications – Education and Experience
At least 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
Proficient in accounting software QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business degrees preferred, not required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook for email communications
Able to follow processes and improve it when necessary
Able to provide high quality deliverables while meeting deadlines and work under pressure at certain times
Great communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Great project management, organizing, and planning skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Understands the team concept and has a strong desire to be a team-player
Solid integrity and ethics is required
Physical Requirements
General office environment requiring ability to:
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
Speak and listen to others over the phone or video conference or in person
Ability to travel 1 to 3 times per year for mandatory Company meeting and retreat
Use keyboard and read from computer screen
Lift up to 15 lbs.
Expected hours – 15-20 hours per week
