OUR PROCESS
How We Work With Your Team
We believe great financial management starts with understanding your business. That's why we take the time to build strong relationships with both you and your team. By working closely together, we gain a deeper understanding of your goals, your challenges, and how your business operates day to day.
We also understand that financial information requires trust and discretion. We work with you to ensure information is shared appropriately, while respecting the level of access and visibility needed across your team.
Here's what it looks like to work with the different members of your team.
PRIMARY CONTACT
With the Owners and / or Partners
We typically work with the primary decision maker of the business. If there are multiple owners or partners, this is usually the person who oversees the financial side of the business and has the most insight into day-to-day operations.
This person serves as our key point of contact and helps guide the engagement by determining which services will provide the most value, making day-to-day decisions related to our work, and approving management decisions as needed.
DAY-TO-DAY PARTNER
With Internal Bookkeeper or Office Manager
If the business owner designates a manager or internal bookkeeper as the primary point of contact, we will work closely with that person to manage day-to-day communication and decisions related to our services. We will also work with the owner(s) to establish the appropriate level of responsibility, involvement, and decision-making authority for that key person.
COORDINATED SUPPORT
With External Tax Accountant
With the approval of the owner(s), we will provide financial information and answer questions related to the business finances in order for the external tax accountants to prepare the business income tax returns.
